The Code
This is now the Working Principles. One clear home for how Rejected Media actually works — not a corporate operating system pasted in.
The full Working Principles & Practical SOP lives on the Manifesto page.
Plain English. How I prefer to work, why certain boundaries exist, and how people can collaborate without confusion. Flexible with people. Firm about the finished work.
Finished work over performance
I care whether the final product is clear, useful, honest, and aligned with the project — not how busy someone looks or how many hours they sat with it.
Use AI honestly
I want people to use AI. If AI helped make something, say that plainly. That does not erase the human idea. Amplify the creator; do not replace them.
Trust both ways
I do not want to micromanage. Room to do the job, honest effort and communication back. Mistakes can be fixed. Dishonesty damages trust.
Hard lines
Sexual harassment, racism, lewd or hostile conduct, theft, dishonesty, and behavior that puts people or the project at risk are deal-breakers — not training issues.
Plain language
Direct communication, clear deliverables, problems raised early. No updates for the sake of updates. Autonomy works when everyone understands the destination.
The working rule
Use tools, tell the truth, respect people, protect the work, and make the final result better than where it started.
