The vision
Toughtogether.
I called myself Rejected my whole life, at first out of anger, and I started this so people like me would know who to trust. I learned it isn't always a rejected person. Rejected soon became a way of pushing back, and thankfully I got tough enough to be able to hold my own and thankfully help others. Now I'm kind of old and tired, and I wouldn't mind a little help.
What we stand for
- We reject hate, bigotry, prejudice, labels, and boxes.
- We reject big companies that rip people off and run you in endless loops.
- Nobody gets to tell you how you feel.
- Cooperation over competition. We meet people as equals with a common goal. Where one leaves off, the other picks up.
- We build people up and back small, local businesses.
- Est. 1999, and still honoring the 90s.
How we operate
- Humans first, AI second. AI does the work people don't want to do, so people have more time for people.
- Honest and straight. We say what we'll do, and we do it.
- Respect everyone. No labels on people.
- We judge finished work, not hours.
- Nobody is on call, and everyone takes at least one full day off a week.
- Family and your own life come first.
- Cooperation over competition. We promote each other and build each other up.
